Designed specifically for use in Montessori classrooms, our revised shelving is made with birch by Kaybee and offered in multiple configurations, many with adjustable shelving. Birch has the advantage of being both relatively light compared to other woods, and has a pleasing tan/white character. We offer the shelving in fixed configurations and adjustable shelving. Shelving comes on slide guides but can be fitted with casters by request. Normally ships fully assembled, but can be shipped broken down if requested to reduce shipping charges on international shipments. Please note that since wood is a natural product there will be slight variation in hue and grain from shelf to shelf. All adjustable shelving units are backed for stability.
