Description   Most people enjoy the atmosphere of alegría (joy) generated by a good mariachi group. Mariachi Music has become very popular in many parts of the world and since the 1970s mariachi has been offered as a musical ensemble course in many universities, colleges, and public schools. Kaybee is pleased to offer these hand crafted, quality guitars made from some of the finest woods, each guitar with its own unique styling and beautiful inlay craftsmanship. Most importantly, they produce the best sound for the least money. The Vihuela is a 5-string instrument that includes a vaulted back, or belly, for added resonance. The instrument is tuned A-D-G-B-E. The Vihuela gives the Mariachi ensemble it’s unique sound. Though normally used for rhythm accompaniment, today’s music makes more clever use of the Vihuela’s capabilities. This model features a decoratively bound body with a solid top and geared machine heads. The top is made of Tacote, the back and sides are Cedar, and the fingerboard is Granadillo. Vihuela length is 30”. Nylon bag is included. Replacement strings available.   Related Products...
