Kaybee Montessori is pleased to present Marcia Perez in conference, for her tenth annual presentation:

The Montessori Music Heritage
"A gift from Montessori to enrich our classrooms"

This summer in the Kaybee Montessori display rooms from July 28th thru August 1st in Rochester, NY. Come join us for a week of Montessori music covering the entire music curriculum from primary through the upper elementary.

The 33-hour workshop will include lectures, along with practical experience, designed to help every Montessori teacher (regardless of musical background) feel confident and secure in teaching all aspects of the music curriculum.

Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to experience the rich music heritage provided by the extensive collaboration of Anna Maria Maccheroni and Dr. Maria Montessori, with materials based on the work of Dr. Jean Miller for her original presentations dating back to 1976.

Workshop I (3 days)
Overview of Montessori Music: including listening, science experiments, music history and literature, singing, rhythm, pitch, notation and movement. This workshop will include both primary and elementary perspectives of music in the classroom.

Workshop II (3+2 days)
The Tone Bars: a serious study of the "Great Transposer" as designed by Maria Montessori. All participants must attend Workshop I. This workshop is specifically for elementary teachers but primary teachers are welcome.
